Mighty Moose Comics offers a free in-store subscription service. As a customer who wants to make sure you receive everything you're interested in, whether a new #1 issue, a one-shot, or an ongoing series, you can rest assured that you will always get what you're looking for by maintaining a subscription reserve box.
Come into the store and ask us for a subscriber form! The form will ask for your basic information. It will also explain the requirements for maintaining a reserve box. You will have to sign the form to show your acceptance of the requirements. These are explained fully on the form, but in general:
(1) You are required to leave a valid credit card on file. There is no actual charge for the service -the credit card will be charged as necessary based on prior permission that you give for us to charge your card.
(2) There is no minimum number of orders required. However, when you alert us to cancel a title, please note that you will have to continue to purchase everything that has already been ordered for you for that title for a two month period. This is because orders are placed 2 months in advance). Additionally, you must also give 2 months notice when you choose to cancel the service altogether. Please keep in mind that the minimum amount of time you must maintain a reserve box is 6 months (4 months' commitment + 2 months notice).
(3) You are required to come in and pick up your books at least once once every 2 weeks. If you do not do so, with the credit card left on file, Mighty Moose Comics will charge ALL the books you have on hold. If the credit card is declined, we will contact you to get a new one. If you cannot provide one, your books will be returned to the shelves. In special cases, we may extend the time between visits - you can ask us if your special situation might apply.
